Olympics

Been busy watching the Olympics!! From the amazing performances of Michael Phelps to the disappointing loss of the women's team. Even caught some of the less popular sports. Badminton(who knew!!) to horse jumping.

Well Phelps has been the big story so far, all of the athletes amaze me! I've always been a fan of the Olympics. I love the competition of it all. These athletes train pretty much their entire lives for that moment. To see Michael Phelps Mom in the stands crying as her son wins his (insert # here) gold medal....and the other parents sitting in the stands cheering their son/daughter on. Who is this a bigger too I wonder? To see all of your hard work pay off? To see your childs hard work pay off? What a great reward!!

I've so enjoyed watching them with my boys. They've really gotten into the events. Well, the woman's gymnastics they are both a little iffy about. They are boys! What can I expect!!
